Description

Hearing aids in CROS family are used for high tone loss, masker, CROS and BICROS and IROS fitting.

CROS A: The canal portion of molds is in the lower part of the aperture; the upper portion is open for venting.

The tube extended beyond the end of mold in to canal to allow the most unaided as well as amplified sound to pass in to ear canal.

CROS B: it is similar to CROS A ear mold except that the bridge area between the canal and triangular fossa is removed.

CROS C: it is similar to CROS A ear mold except that the canal portion of ear mold is replaced by tubing.

This style is used when a comfortable canal fit is not possible with the CROS A or CROS B ear molds.
